Top 5 Benefit makeup

I am such a Benefit fan and can officially call myself a BENEBABE ^^ I have recently been collecting and trying loads of Benefit products and therefore can officially report to you my favourite must-haves.
It was hard limiting myself to only choosing 5 products, however I have constantly been reaching out for these and putting it in my makeup bag.

1) Porefessional Matte Rescue Primer £21.50
This is my favourite primer due to the light, fresh feeling it gives to my complexion. It keeps my oily t-zone at bay and hydrates areas that need hydrating, aswell as giving an overall matte yet smooth finish to my makeup. The ingredients consist of finely milled diamond powder to blur any open pores and fine lines. It consists of natural glycerin and mushroom extract to keep your skin moisturised yet matte all day long. Matte rescue is your #Nofilter filter!

2) They're Real Mascara £19.50
This does everything! It gives length, volume, colour and lifts my small lashes. The wand is rather unique due to the 360 degree angled brush and bristles, which gives it power to reach even the smallest of lashes. It's smudge proof not waterproof so it's easier to get off after a long day of work. Hail to the worlds best selling mascara!! Have you tried it yet?!

3) They're Real Push-up Eyeliner £18.50
Now if you want a deep-matte black eyeliner that doesn't smudge on your eyelid then this is for you! It's a gel formula made for women on the go. The gel is contained in a twist-up pen and is so easy to use! However be careful not to twist too much, as a little goes a long way with this product ^^ Make sure you wipe the top of the nib clean with every use, as it does dry at the top and will clump if not done so. This is because the formula protects the rest of the gel product. The best thing about this particular eyeliner is that the colour doesn't fade and its special designed nib will grab so closely to your lash line, so no white gaps - An excellent innovation in my eyes!

4) Hoola Bronzer £23.50
Hoola is my favourite bronzer, as it has no glitter particles or any red pigmentation in the colour, therefore giving a natural shadow for contouring and warming of the face. Remember a little product goes a long way and I love the brush that it comes with it too XD The brush really contours and creates those cheekbones and the product itself will last about 4-5 months if used daily. My handbag staple as this particular Hoola is my 4th one so far.

5) Rocketeur Blusher £23.50
This highly pigmented, rose gold blush has flecks of finely milled glitter, which looks absolutely stunning on the cheeks. The way to describe it is, that if you love rosy cheeks but love the neutral look too, then this is a must-try in my opinion. It is buttery smooth on the cheeks and really gives that definition in the right way.

Have you tried any of these products yet? If so, let me know your opinions too and tell me what your favourite Benefit products are ^^ If you haven't, then definitely check out the nearest Benefit counter and I'm sure you'll be converted into a Benebabe :D

I have been late on this beauty band-wagon, it's now October. I'm sure you have all heard of it, as it is seen in other blogger reviews, thus this has tempted me into trying it out. I mean if you are a beauty fanatic and a sucker for elegant packaging then this is for you. During my try out of September, I received an extra box due to a 2 for 1 offer, which was a bonus for me XD
It is a great platform for testing out new products that you have not tried before, containing around 5 full size products for only £10/month (love the concept really).

The package was super secure and all products were intact. It is such a great feeling getting surprised by this September's box, which contained:
1) Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque 250ml
2) Invisibobbles
3) Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro
4) Nails Inc Polish
5) Bellapierre Shimmer Powder

Each Glossybox is so welcoming, containing vouchers and beauty/fashion news updates. Overall I am impressed with this September's products, especially the box design and am excited to test each and every one.

Do you have the same problem as me?! I have the tendency to change my look from time to time and this Spring 2014, I have decided to dip-dye my ends blonde, however with my naturally dark black/brown hair you notice that every time you lighten your hair colour it tends to end up looking slightly ginger.
I wanted to test out the L'Oreal DIY Ombre kits available at any nearest drugstore. I bought mine a while ago and was resilient to test it out, as I was obviously scared that my hair would fall out from all this bleaching, luckily this did not happen. I tried the L'Oreal Wild Ombre Kit purchased from boots- at bargain price around £6.99. It isn't that pricey considering you pay more at your salon. However you get what you pay for, so you may get better results at your salon.
I was pleased with my results. It did exactly what it was meant to do: to naturally lighten your hair and the leaflet given within this kit was rather helpful, even beginners could understand it. Truthfully I wasn't pleased with the 2in1 shampoo and conditioner, as my hair ended up lacking moisture and smoothness, therefore used an intense conditioner from a previous L'Oreal box-dye. Even though I was pleased with the overall result, I am sure to repurchase it again and maybe my end will gradually get lighter in time. We will see and I will sure inform you all next time.

Geo Mari Gold Brown Lenses (taken in natural daylight)
Available at Eye Candys, I purchased these as I was running out of my daily disposable lenses and really wanted to try out circle lenses again.
As I read many reviews of how comfortable they were on numerous blogs and how they were in demand, I had to test them out myself.
I ordered them online over the Easter holidays, costing me $26.88 (GBP £17.27) and the fast shipping is FREE (approx 10 days arrival time), as I was expecting the shipping to be longer, as Eye Candys ship worldwide. The packaging was very secure and safe with lots of bubble wrap to make sure that the glasses that the lenses are kept in are unbreakable. The package comes with their business card, a safety care leaflet for their lenses and a FREE contact lense case.
Brand: GEO
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 42%
Diameter: 14.2 mm
Base Curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year disposable

My ratings:
1) Design: Natural brown design with subtle gold flexes running through them. It's very pretty and makes your eyes look brighter and youthful.

2) Enlargement: Slight enlargement, yet again very subtle and natural looking. Has a 14.2mm diameter, therefore not much difference from natural eye size.

3) Comfort: Very comfortable, I've worn them a few times now and my eyes feel like they haven't got any lenses on them (maximum wear for me is 8 hours), however when you wear them at first you may find it a little irritating as I guess your eyes are not used to new lenses, but if u carry eye drops with you it should be fine.

Overall experience: Fantastic and a great purchase and I recommend anyone who's looking for new lenses which look natural and adorable.

My friend's 21st was amazing!!!! The theme was obviously Disney and Pixar related and I decided to go as Russell, from the film Up, which was my ideal character, as I'm small and Asian XD
There were some fantastical characters!!!
How I made the Russell costume (Up Character): I borrowed a yellow top from my little brother and the brownie sash was borrowed from one of the good friends in the photo. I already had the shorts, bought the strappy backpack and cap from Ebay and finally, bought half a metre of orange fabric for the flag and the scarf and as well as the long socks from Topshop Sale. a little touch that makes the outfit complete was to print out the Wilderness Explorer logos to hand-sew onto the yellow polo-top and the flag:)

The charity Art Against Knives have produced a series of 3 designer T-Shirts to add to their online shop and as I was lucky to help backstage I got to contribute in advertising to a fabulous cause. I bought one of these T-Shirts as well XD  The design is made by Fred Butler Style, a polka dot sticker collage artwork on a pair of butterfly wings. It is meant to be physcadelic and as colourful as possible to brighten up any wardrobe. It surely brightens my wardrobe now..... It was £20 when i bought mine and the profits will go to fund AAK amazing work in youth-led arts initiatives providing an alternative to violent gang culture. AAK works to reduce the root causes of knife crime after the tragic and unprovoked stabbing of Oliver Hemsley, a 21-year-old student from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design. The vicious attack, which has left Oliver in a wheelchair, took place in Shoreditch, East London, in August 2008. It is the impact of this that drives Art Against Knives to create something positive from such a life-changing experience.

To get hold of one of the multicoloured t-shirts, you can buy them here
