Netflix Obsession (Okja)

Netflix has really pushed the boat in producing original series and films this month. I'm glad to say that I like to choose what to watch, so here I am telling you about my current obsessions.

Okja is the title of the Netflix original film. The trailer for this was captivating and original. It instantly took my breath away due to its mesmerising scenes. It captures a fantasy-like nature to the film and is directed by South Korean film-maker Bong Joon Ho. The film toys with emotions but is also creative and aesthetically pleasing to watch.
Okja, the 'Super-pig' is about a young girl called Mija, who delves in the powerful notion of saving her best friend (Okja). It talks about the difficulties of conglomerate companies and the greed of being successful. More so, about culture around the characters and the effects of science within food. Overall, Okja is quirky and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to see something different and eye-opening.

BIG BIG Lashes - it's 'Monsieur BIG!'

Who are No.1 for best mascaras in the world? Lancome of course! Again with a blast! Lancome have done it again for bringing out a new mascara. Monsieur Big (MR BIG) claims to maximise any lash. It is BIG, BOLD and SUPER BLACK with an ALL DAY STAYING POWER. I of course needed to try it for myself.

The sensual feeling you get from applying this mascara is miraculous! The image above has only one coat of mascara and BOOM VOLUME! It is super intense. If you are the person who loves big falsies, then you will definitely buy this mascara. It only costs £21 which is only 50p more than Benefit's UK no.1 best-selling mascara.
I have worn this mascara in 30 degree heat. There is a little smudging but not to be expected in this sweltering heat wave. Yes I would recommend it still because of the immense impact that it gives to my tiny lashes. It gives me extra length and depth to my eyes, which I love. I hope my little review helped you all. X

love T.K.MAXX

T.k.maxx is outstanding! detail, the quality, the price and the experience of finding unique pieces. Shopping in store and online has always been a pleasant experience for me.
Being a fashion fanatic, I've always had an eye for detail and design. My wardrobe is full of different key silhouettes and textured fabrics. It's a playground for inspiration and ideas.

Shopping on the other hand has always been a hobby for me. It's like a game where I find unique and special pieces that deserve to be worn or to be placed or played with. I stumbled on the website the other day and found some new key pieces. They deserve to be mentioned for all you shoppers out there. I am only mentioning clothes, as it will take up my life because it is sooooo gooood!!!

What Power do you have?

Teint Idole Ultra Wear
My power shade: 01

Lancome celebrates strong individuals who know what the word, 'Beauty' is all about. Everyone should feel empowered in how they look and feel. Happiness is the key to success, so this is where make-up comes into play. The new foundation 'Teint Idole Ultra Wear,' claims to last all day, has a light-weight feel and has full coverage with a matt-finish on the skin. It now has 40 new shades that accommodates each woman or man.

Are we all Instagram ready yet? Most foundations who claim to have full-coverage does not feel great on the skin. It is heavy, sticky and unnatural, so I am always looking for better alternatives. I must say, Lancome's new foundation is the best I've tried. It is similar to Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation in the way it feels and looks. It is matte but radiant at the same time. My skin feels breathable yet natural and my imperfections concealed. The best part is that it lasts all day without any touch-ups.

I tested the lighting to see if there are any flash backs from the camera and whether it looks natural.

My overall score for 'Teint Idole Ultra Wear' is a clear 10/10. It captures youthfulness and perfection at the same time. It is available in a variety of tones and colours that will suit everyone. It lasts all day and does not irritate sensitive skin. The packaging also feels luxurious to the touch.
I hope my review will help choose your perfect shade. Have a good day X

Top 5 Benefit makeup

I am such a Benefit fan and can officially call myself a BENEBABE ^^ I have recently been collecting and trying loads of Benefit products and therefore can officially report to you my favourite must-haves.
It was hard limiting myself to only choosing 5 products, however I have constantly been reaching out for these and putting it in my makeup bag.

1) Porefessional Matte Rescue Primer £21.50
This is my favourite primer due to the light, fresh feeling it gives to my complexion. It keeps my oily t-zone at bay and hydrates areas that need hydrating, aswell as giving an overall matte yet smooth finish to my makeup. The ingredients consist of finely milled diamond powder to blur any open pores and fine lines. It consists of natural glycerin and mushroom extract to keep your skin moisturised yet matte all day long. Matte rescue is your #Nofilter filter!

2) They're Real Mascara £19.50
This does everything! It gives length, volume, colour and lifts my small lashes. The wand is rather unique due to the 360 degree angled brush and bristles, which gives it power to reach even the smallest of lashes. It's smudge proof not waterproof so it's easier to get off after a long day of work. Hail to the worlds best selling mascara!! Have you tried it yet?!

3) They're Real Push-up Eyeliner £18.50
Now if you want a deep-matte black eyeliner that doesn't smudge on your eyelid then this is for you! It's a gel formula made for women on the go. The gel is contained in a twist-up pen and is so easy to use! However be careful not to twist too much, as a little goes a long way with this product ^^ Make sure you wipe the top of the nib clean with every use, as it does dry at the top and will clump if not done so. This is because the formula protects the rest of the gel product. The best thing about this particular eyeliner is that the colour doesn't fade and its special designed nib will grab so closely to your lash line, so no white gaps - An excellent innovation in my eyes!

4) Hoola Bronzer £23.50
Hoola is my favourite bronzer, as it has no glitter particles or any red pigmentation in the colour, therefore giving a natural shadow for contouring and warming of the face. Remember a little product goes a long way and I love the brush that it comes with it too XD The brush really contours and creates those cheekbones and the product itself will last about 4-5 months if used daily. My handbag staple as this particular Hoola is my 4th one so far.

5) Rocketeur Blusher £23.50
This highly pigmented, rose gold blush has flecks of finely milled glitter, which looks absolutely stunning on the cheeks. The way to describe it is, that if you love rosy cheeks but love the neutral look too, then this is a must-try in my opinion. It is buttery smooth on the cheeks and really gives that definition in the right way.

Have you tried any of these products yet? If so, let me know your opinions too and tell me what your favourite Benefit products are ^^ If you haven't, then definitely check out the nearest Benefit counter and I'm sure you'll be converted into a Benebabe :D

SEPTEMBER GLOSSYBOX 2015

I have been late on this beauty band-wagon, it's now October. I'm sure you have all heard of it, as it is seen in other blogger reviews, thus this has tempted me into trying it out. I mean if you are a beauty fanatic and a sucker for elegant packaging then this is for you. During my try out of September, I received an extra box due to a 2 for 1 offer, which was a bonus for me XD
It is a great platform for testing out new products that you have not tried before, containing around 5 full size products for only £10/month (love the concept really).

The package was super secure and all products were intact. It is such a great feeling getting surprised by this September's box, which contained:
1) Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque 250ml
2) Invisibobbles
3) Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro
4) Nails Inc Polish
5) Bellapierre Shimmer Powder

Each Glossybox is so welcoming, containing vouchers and beauty/fashion news updates. Overall I am impressed with this September's products, especially the box design and am excited to test each and every one.

LOREAL PARIS OMBRE

Do you have the same problem as me?! I have the tendency to change my look from time to time and this Spring 2014, I have decided to dip-dye my ends blonde, however with my naturally dark black/brown hair you notice that every time you lighten your hair colour it tends to end up looking slightly ginger.
I wanted to test out the L'Oreal DIY Ombre kits available at any nearest drugstore. I bought mine a while ago and was resilient to test it out, as I was obviously scared that my hair would fall out from all this bleaching, luckily this did not happen. I tried the L'Oreal Wild Ombre Kit purchased from boots- at bargain price around £6.99. It isn't that pricey considering you pay more at your salon. However you get what you pay for, so you may get better results at your salon.
I was pleased with my results. It did exactly what it was meant to do: to naturally lighten your hair and the leaflet given within this kit was rather helpful, even beginners could understand it. Truthfully I wasn't pleased with the 2in1 shampoo and conditioner, as my hair ended up lacking moisture and smoothness, therefore used an intense conditioner from a previous L'Oreal box-dye. Even though I was pleased with the overall result, I am sure to repurchase it again and maybe my end will gradually get lighter in time. We will see and I will sure inform you all next time.
